Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to reshape health care. Early indications suggest that AI may play a pivotal role in how Medi-Cal managed care plans analyze data, identify and monitor gaps in care, conduct processes central to the management of member care and plan operations, and support decision making and predictors of care. These and other impacts of AI could significantly change the way local plans conduct business with the hope that it will contribute to cost savings and improved patient outcomes.
Join us for an exploratory webinar that will take a closer look into AI and what it means for California’s local health plans. The program will examine what AI can do today and what it may evolve into over time, how federal and state regulators are approaching AI at this juncture and the direction regulation may take, and how local plans are thinking about, evaluating and planning for integrating AI into plan operations and processes.
Who should attend:
Health plan staff across all levels and functional areas who are interested in better understanding the potential of AI and its impact on plan operations, including clinical management, quality improvement, member services, provider services, finance, human resources, compliance, data analysis and others
