Health Plan Of San Joaquin (HPSJ) to Host Inaugural Event for Upcoming Binational Health Week
San Joaquin County Community Partners Joining for Kick-off of Month-Long Series

What:

As a long-time Binational participant, and a sponsor for each of the 2016 local events in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties, Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) is proud to host this inaugural kick-off.  HPSJ this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.  Many of our community partners engaged with Binational Health Week are long-time partners in the joint, ongoing quest to expand healthcare access opportunities for local families and communities.

Binational Health Week – now taking place locally from late September to late October – has evolved into one of the largest mobilization efforts to improve the health and well-being of the under-served Latino population that lives in the United States and Canada. During Binational Health Week, government agencies, community-based organizations and thousands of volunteers come together to conduct health promotions and health education events.
