Local Health Plans on Newsom Healthcare Proposal
Monday, January 7, 2019 - Brianna Lierman, CEO of the Local Health Plans of California, issued the following statement regarding Gov. Newsom’s healthcare proposal.
“Expanding Medi-Cal to undocumented young adults is the right thing to do. All youth deserve reliable access to health care, which will allow them to focus on living happy and productive lives. Local health plans look forward to working with the Newsom Administration on this important and laudable goal.
“LHPC looks forward to learning more about the additional health proposals put forth by Governor Newsom.”
